Our journey began as Midwest Benefits Group in 2003 and built on founder Barry Cohen's prior decades of experience in group health insurance underwriting, pricing, and benefits sales on the carrier side. After 21+ years in business supporting organizations in Central Ohio, we rebranded as TBC Benefits when Barry's son Trevor joined the firm and expanded to Northeast Ohio. Our belief in “what could be” rather than "the way it's always been done" has shaped our mission.
